How to open SMilDS webstore?
STEP 1: Apply for a Webstore
Kick-start your business online with SMilDS now! Enjoy a non-stop business around the clock even on your get-away trip for holiday. Equipped with cool-designed store template and user-friendly store management system,all you need to do is just to upload your products as well as your store description and you are ready for business.
STEP 2: Information Validation
To prepare the information, you will need to prepare the following for our validation:
1. SMilDS open webstore application form.
2. Photocopy of identity card company's responsible person or manager.
3. Photocopy of bank statement.
4. Photocopy of water or electricity.
STEP 3: Account Activation Upon validation, you will then receive the SMilDS activation card where you can activate your account from http://www.smilds.com/cardactivation.php. Once activated, you can then login with the login email and password provided. It is essential to change the auto-generated password to your personal, unique password for security purposes.
STEP 4: Setup Webstore
Start working on your webstore by creating the page contents, product details and photos. To make the store more captivating, SMilDS had prepared designed templates where you can choose the scheme suitable to your business.

How can I start my business?
Upon activation, you will receive your login name and your password. With the login details, login to your webstore at http://www.smilds.com/backoffice/login.php. We advise you to change your password upon login. With that, your webstore is ready for product uploading and major renovation in designs.
Do I need to sign any contract? How long is the contract period?
Yes, you will need to sign an agreement, however there is no time constraint upon the contract.
I don't have a company. Can I still have a webstore?
Yes, you do not need to own a company to have one. We welcome all home users, individuals or even hobbyist.
Is there any training workshop upon sign up? What is the workshop about?
SMilDS training workshop provides a step-by-step training workshop, equipped with live demo session on how to master the SMilDS Backoffice System to furnish and effectively manage your own webstore.
How long does it take to activate my account?
Account activation only takes 1-2 working days, for more detail please refer How to open SMilDS webstore.
What products can I sell?
Generally, you can sell almost anything, as long as it is legal. However, there are different restrictions imposed by each country where the requirements vary accordingly. Do take note that each country has its own restricted items and therefore, we advice you prepare the necessary shipping documents if ever you were to ship those restricted items to a particular country. For more information, please read our Site Policies for the list of Dangerous and Restricted Goods.
Can I shop if I am not a SMilDS member?
Yes, of course. Just sign up as SMilDS member at http://www.smilds.com/joinfree.php and fill up some simple information. Once registered, start shopping!
How do I ship my product?
With SMilDS webstore, it comes with e-logistic system integrated automatically to our logistic partner, City-Link Express. You can also choose to deliver yourself if you wish.
When do I need to ship my products?
You will need to ship out your products within 7 working days upon receiving order. However, at anytime your webstore happen to be out of stock, you will need to inform your customer and SMilDS Support Center at 03-80684607 or Email Us.
What kind of payment option will I have in my webstore?
SMilDS provide two (2) types of payment option:
- Credit Card via Visa & MasterCard

Yes, you can. With complete webstore details, you are ready to market your products.
What is the difference between SMilDS and other auction website?
1. Auction sites allows you to sell products however, you do not own your personal webstore.
2. Auction sites do not allow you to keep your customer data. Having a SMilDS webstore, on the other hand, enables you to maintain and keep in contact with your customers as well as your friends with our CRM system.
3. Auction sites may provide a sales channel. However, with SMilDS webstore, you can market your product branding.
4. Auction sites may provide competitive pricing. However, SMilDS provides a safe, secure & quality platform, with risk management & operation management taken into account.
5. Auction business model may be cheap; however for every product you upload & sell, there will be charges. SMilDS, on the other hand, does not charge per product, our charges are only on the system that we provide to you, with a fix premium fee for 2 years.

Do I need to pay for every new feature updates from SMilDS?
The 2-year subscription fee & the monthly fee cover the maintenance of new feature updates and the operation cost once you sign up. In addition, these fees also cover server upgrades, technology upgrades as well as country penetration.
Is there any free trial period?
Sorry, SMilDS do not offer free accounts for trial basis.
